Verification Process

To verify your identity, a small number of supporting documents are required. This step can be completed on the account verification page.

Processing Time

Submitted documents are reviewed by our verification team. When documents are complete and clear, review is typically completed instantly. Depending on account activity, additional documents may be requested, in which case review may take up to 24 hours.

Required Documents

The following documents are required for verification:

  • Photo identification

  • A selfie showing you holding your photo ID next to your face

Depending on account activity, additional documents such as a credit card or proof of address may also be requested.

Photo Identification

Accepted forms of identification include a passport, driver’s license, national identity card, or citizenship card. The following details must be visible:

  • A photo of the holder

  • Full name

  • Date of issue

  • Date of expiry

  • Date of birth

  • MRZ lines or barcode

All four corners of the document should be visible in the image so that it does not appear cropped.

Credit Card

Photos of both sides of the card are required and must show:

  • Cardholder’s full name

  • Expiry date

  • Card number

For security purposes, only the first six and last four digits of the card number should be visible. The middle six digits and the security code on the reverse side should be covered. All four corners of the card should be visible in the image.

Proof of Address

A recent document sent to the registered home address is required, such as a utility bill, invoice, or bank statement. Electronic documents (PDF) are also accepted.

Before submitting, please confirm the document clearly shows:

  • Date of issue (no more than three months old)

  • Full name

  • Home address

All four corners of the document should be visible in the image. It is also recommended to keep the address and other personal details on the account up to date.

Document Submission Guidelines

For security reasons, documents can only be submitted through the designated document upload tool or from the email address registered to the account. Documents should be clear and legible. Questions can be directed to our team via the help portal. Depending on account activity, additional documents may be requested at a later stage.

Additional points to note:

  • Accepted formats are BMP, PNG, JPG, and PDF, submitted in colour.

  • If email attachments exceed 10MB combined, documents can be split across separate emails.

  • All four corners of each document must be visible within the image.

  • Photos taken on a mobile phone are accepted provided the resolution is high.

  • Documents should be submitted unedited, without use of editing software or apps.

Why Verification Is Required

Yuugado operates under a license issued in Curaçao. Identity verification is one of the procedures required under this license and is intended to support player protection.
